Last week alone, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, it rose by more than half to 1,242. The number of patients in serious condition also rose to 265.

The disease is now the most widespread in the Uherské Hradiště region, where over 380 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants have been recorded in the last seven days. In no other region has the number of new cases exceeded three hundred.
