This number recorded the highest passenger record during the Covid-19 pandemic at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
President Director of PT AP II Muhammad Awaluddin said that the peak flow of passenger departures occurred on 27-28 October 2020 yesterday.
“In the midst of this pandemic, the average passenger at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is 40,000 – 45,000 people per day, and today, October 28, 2020, we estimate that it will reach around 61,000 people. This is also in accordance with the report we received from the airline, that the number of passengers today reached around 61,000 people, “Awaluddin said in a written statement, Thursday (29/10/2020).

Meanwhile, the peak of return flow at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is estimated to occur on 30 October and 1 November 2020. Meanwhile, the Director of Operations and Services of PT AP II Muhamad Wasid added that heavy flight traffic also occurs at other airports managed by the company.
“PT Angkasa Pura II together with stakeholders remain alert to increase focus in serving travelers and maintain health protocols well executed. We always try to keep people’s travel smoothly at 19 airports, ”he said.
