Dear citizens of Bulgaria, dear sisters and brothers,
Today we are witnessing a worsening socio-economic situation in our country and in Europe. We live in the conditions of rapidly escalating military-political and geopolitical contradictions. In this situation, the PP-DB – GERB-SDS government with Prime Minister Academician Nikolay Denkov is obliged to seek solutions, given the serious internal and external problems. Instead, the cabinet’s statements and actions so far suggest the opposite.
It is necessary to emphasize that this government enjoys limited electoral support from Bulgarian voters who have the right to vote. His moral rating is scandalously low, due to the known circumstances of his formation. Despite all these facts, the government pursues a policy that gradually but steadily involves our Fatherland in the storm of war and armed confrontations.
It allowed the passage of foreign military forces into Kosovo. Increases the “donation” of ammunition and other military equipment to the regime in Ukraine, which comes at the expense of the sharp reduction of the defense potential of the Bulgarian army. Expresses support for Ukraine’s accession to NATO. It allows the creation of large-scale foreign military formations on Bulgarian land, as well as its transformation into a military burial.
The pinnacle of this process of involvement in the war is the government’s invitation to the president of the regime in Ukraine, V. Zelensky, to visit Bulgaria. This visit raises suspicions that it is about an even more brutal thrust of our Motherland into the hurricane of the military conflict. There are even greater doubts about the promises of the “Minister of War” Todor Tagarev that no “manpower” will be sent to the new Eastern Front.
All of this is being done against the backdrop of large-scale public opinion control. Censorship and data secrecy are being introduced, it is planned to build centers to combat disinformation. There is a strange silence and inaction regarding provocative calls for “Bulgarian Maidan” and “bloodshed”. All this creates serious doubts about allowing controlled provocations that create conditions for civil war.
In this regard, we call on all Bulgarian citizens to go to July 9, 2023 in their settlements and participate on the 8th campaign against the world! This is the way to respond through mass civil actions to the anti-Bulgarian policy of the government, which pushes us to war!
We urge you to actively participate in the signature to initiate a Referendum for Peace and Sovereignty, because only in this way will we be able to exercise our inalienable constitutional right that the fateful decisions for our Motherland be made by the people!
