On Instagram: Actor pretends to be a PR consultant – and makes Söder a corona denier

If you visit the Renger’s Instagram page, you will find numerous short videos in which the actor poses as a PR consultant. He seems to advise the entire German political prominence. In fact, they are just cleverly cut clips of public appearances by politicians. In addition to videos on Merkel, Linder, Laschet and Co., there is also an advisory video for the Bavarian Prime Minister. With Markus Söder * (CSU) Renger has apparently chosen a tough nut to crack when it comes to image advice. Especially when it comes to his favorite topic Corona *, he doesn’t give the country manager a good look.

At first, the edited conversation between Renger and Söder starts quite relaxed. Their conversation seems to be about a planned speech on the subject of Corona *. “Have you prepared a speech?” Is the first question to the Prime Minister. The answer in a nutshell: “Unfortunately not.” Renger doesn’t seem surprised. Merz and Laschet also had nothing, he throws in a little later.

Söder mutates more and more into a corona denier in conversation

In the course of the conversation, Renger then asks quite bluntly: “What’s new about Corona?” And Söder says what many people think – “Corona is annoying”. But that is not how it remains. The country manager is getting more and more entangled in statements that one would normally assign to the corona deniers. Renger is noticeably more nervous and pleads with Söder to “stop the maverick nonsense.” Of course, he doesn’t. The 35-year-old actor has no choice but to resign.
