On February 22, Huawei Mate X2 will be powered by Kirin 9000

Mate X2 is predicted to lead a new form of smart phones in the future.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SHENZHEN — CEO Huawei Richard Yu shared on Weibo that the Mate X2 phone will launch on February 22nd. He said flagship foldable ones will lead a new form of smart phone in the future.

The phone will have a fold-in design, unlike the original Mate. Reporting from GSMArenaThursday (4/2), another surprising detail that was revealed was that the Mate X2 will be powered by Kirin 9000.

Previously, the Mate X2 passed TENAA, which revealed that the phone will have a 6.45-inch external display with a very reasonable 21: 9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1,160 x 2,700 pixels (in comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a 25: 9 display).

The internal screen will be the largest for a foldable device, measuring 8.01 inches diagonally (resolution 2,220 x 2,480 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 10: 9 square). The unfinished dimensions of the phone are listed as 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2 mm.

Inside there will be a 4,400 mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The quad camera on the back will have a 50 + 16 + 12 + 8MP configuration.

The Leakster Digital Chat Station sent an image showing the Mate X2 in closed and open positions. It shows a double punch hole on the external screen (with 16 MP selfie camera), while the internal screen is large, free of holes and notches.

Despite being from TENAA, this information has not been officially confirmed. All that Richard Yu and company reveal is the fold-in design and the Kirin 9000 chipset.
