An eleven-day-old baby was reported stolen by Tamaulipas state authorities after her mother reported the attack by a woman with a knife at the time she offered to take her in her vehicle to a consultation medical.
The robbery occurred at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Puerta Grande neighborhood of the Reynosa municipality.
Elizabeth Cruz Hernández, 31 years old, suffered various injuries to the neck from the knife, as well as other blows when she jumped from the truck in which she was hit.
Cruz Hernández was transferred to a hospital.
The authorities reported that they learned of the events and that they began an operation to locate the newborn.
Through Facebook, a person who identified himself within the profile as “Peravel Gabby”, She contacted Cruz Hernández to offer her clothes, diapers, as well as taking her to a hospital to care for the baby due to the bad economic situation that was happening.
After so much insistence, the mother of the family finally accepted, so the stranger on board the truck came for her and supposedly they went to the doctor.
According to the statements made by Cruz Hernández, on the way, Gabby Paravel attacked her with a knife, forcing her to jump out of the vehicle while the aggressor fled with the girl.
Once the woman was discharged, she went to the police to formally report the case.
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that the search operation continues.
In social networks, the relatives of Cruz Hernández asked for support from the public.
