On Facebook, Paris 2024 volunteers share their “JOstalgia”

Facebook, old hat? Not for the Paris 2024 volunteers. They made us sing, dance and we applauded them during the closing ceremony and their moment of glory lulled by a “That I love you” echoing at the Stade de France. In December 2022, Anaïs Avril created a Facebook group “Volontaires Paris 2024”, where today more than 8,800 members have gathered to share anecdotes, advice and sometimes misadventures. “I didn’t think there would be such enthusiasm, but I wanted to bring people together and it took off straight away.”smiles the 25-year-old woman.
