Today, January 1, an explosion occurred in the city of Kabul in Afghanistan near the military airport, killing 18 people.
“This morning there was an explosion at the military airport in Kabul, as a result of which many of our citizens were killed and injured,” said Abdul Nafi Takor, spokesman for the Afghan interior ministry.
A source in the Afghan security services also said that at least 10 people were killed and 8 others were injured as a result of this incident.
According to preliminary data, officials and police blocked the roads leading to the site of the explosion, there were sent ambulances and military equipment.
