The average price for an apartment on the coast in 2021 was 302,225 euros. That is an increase of 7.5 percent compared to 2020. The most striking price increase was noted in Westende: +18.4 percent to an average price of 182,247 euros. Despite this price increase, Westende remained the cheapest municipality to buy a coastal apartment.
No surprise: Knokke was the most expensive municipality in 2021, with an average price of 589,022 euros. The price rose by 3 percent compared to 2020.
