In the battles in the Bakhmut direction, military Daniil Lyashuk with the call sign “Mujahid” was killed. He has been fighting for Ukraine since 2014.

This was announced by military chaplain Khadzhimurad Putilin. The blogger also confirmed the sad news Igor Lachenkov. He stressed that Daniel died as a soldier.

He noted that “Mujahid” never received the citizenship of Ukraine, which he dreamed of. Therefore, he asked to provide it to Daniel, at least posthumously.

Fought despite being wounded

“Mujahid” had 2 severe wounds during a full-scale war, but again returned to the front line. The last one was on August 18, 2022 during a combat mission. Despite this fact, together with his group he captured two Russian soldiers.

The Belarusian volunteer was the commander and founder of the Vendetta combat group, fought for Ukraine since 2014.

In social networks, Mujahid is remembered as a brave and determined hero. In particular, the military with the call sign “Magyar” stressed that Lyashuk will always remain a true warrior of the Ukrainian people. Ukrainians add that heroes don’t die. However, they stop responding to SMS.

What is known about the Mujahideen

Daniil Lyashuk was born in the city of Brest in Belarus. At the age of 14 he moved to the Crimea, where he was educated as a sailor in Sevastopol.

After the occupation of Crimea began in 2014, he went to fight on the side of Ukraine and joined the ranks of a volunteer battalion operating in eastern Ukraine in the JFO zone.

On January 19, 2015, during the fighting in the area of ​​Stanytsia Luhanska, he was seriously wounded. In the same year, Lyashuk was detained in a criminal-political case against the Tornado battalion. He was charged with a number of serious crimes, which the volunteer denied.
