Omroep Zwart van Akwasi is well on track to have 50,000 aspiring members by the end of the year. Have one month after the establishment already nearly 20,000 people joined his project to get even more ‘diversity’ on the Dutch picture tube and radio.
All attempts by mainly left-wing broadcasters to push more diversity down the throats of the Dutch were not enough. Because despite all the gays, lesbians, transgender people, Muslims, ‘people of color’ and other labels for people who have appeared on TV and on the radio, there is apparently still a need for more diversity.
Probably the problem for people like Akwasi lies in the fact that the existing broadcasters are still run by ‘white’ people, and that is of course a very bad deal for racism callers like him. Because how could it be otherwise that in addition to Omroep Zwart, Omroep X was also created, which also spearheads diversity? And there are also three different Muslim broadcasters and a broadcaster for ‘Dutch with Indonesian roots’. In all, even already fifteen broadcasters reported to the Media Authority.
Of course, all those broadcasters pretend to want to give space for everything and everyone, but you can feel with your clogs that these are clearly ideologically motivated broadcasters who want to practice identity politics under the guise of ‘diversity’. For example, if someone wants to set up a Broadcaster Blank / Wit, they will climb high in the curtains. And if the Media Authority does not choose their broadcasters, for example because their ideas are just rubbish, then you can already feel the accusations of discrimination, racism, colonialism, oppression and superiority thinking. Allegations that we will also hear if the viewing and listening figures eventually fall significantly. And so we will soon continue to polarize in the Netherlands, from our own tax money!
