Omroep Flevoland – News – St Jansdal screens visitors at the main entrance

From Monday morning, the main entrances of the St Jansdal hospitals in Lelystad and Harderwijk will be checked for symptoms. In the central halls there are healthcare workers who screen visitors and patients.

Questions are asked at the entrance about any complaints from visitors and patients. These are questions about fever, cough, shortness of breath and nose colds. If a patient has respiratory complaints or a fever, he may only enter with a mouth mask. The mask should only be removed after the patient has left the hospital. Visitors with complaints are not allowed to enter the hospital. An exception is made for visitors to terminal patients.

Entrance closed
The entrance to building H in Harderwijk will also be closed. There are Ivy, Birth Care Home, Mother & Child Center and dental surgery. Visitors and patients for these departments must also first have themselves screened at the main entrance. In the hospital there is signage to building H.
