The franchisee of McDonald’s in Israel, the Eloniel company owned by Omri Padan, signed an agreement to sell the company to McDonald’s worldwide. Aluniel, which owns and operates McDonald’s restaurants in Israel, began its operations in Israel more than 30 years ago. It currently operates 225 restaurants and has 5,000 employees. Upon completion of the transaction, McDonald’s Global will own the chain in Israel.
According to the announcement, although the sale agreement has been signed, it is still subject to certain unspecified conditions, which the company says are expected to be closed in the coming months. The company also stated that all the conditions of the employees in the network will be maintained.
