The number of confirmed micro-infected after the Christmas table at Louise Restaurant & Bar in Oslo on November 26 is now 105. In its report Thursday FHI stated that the number was confirmed by sequencing var 17.
– The number of corona infections in total is the same now – 145. 105 of them have been detected omicron, mainly through screening, Tine Ravlo, assistant district chief physician and infection control physician in the district Frogner, informs Dagbladet.
High demand
The safest detection is obtained through sequencing, but Ravlo explains that there is currently a large demand in the laboratories, and that they consider the screening results to be reliable. The health authorities also assume that all those infected have the new variant.

– If they test positive within the quarantine period, they will not have been able to spread the infection in society, beyond their own household. Now it has also been so long that it is unnatural for guests from Louise to test positive, says the assistant district superintendent.

Large geographical spread
The eruption has spread over large parts of Oslo’s surroundings; infection has been detected as far away as the Viken municipalities Krødsherad (linked to an eruption at Norefjell Ski & Spa) and Øvre Eiker. In addition, there are closer, more populous municipalities such as Asker and Bærum.
– The infected live in different districts and municipalities. Before the infection was discovered, they have spread the infection further, and there have been ramifications, says Ravlo – who emphasizes that the party participants had full opportunity to move freely in society at this time.

The eruption in Norefjell has been isolated branches to at least ten municipalities, the local authorities told Dagbladet last week.
