According to scientists, sneezing is one of the most common symptoms. At the same time, they noted that they had not encountered such a symptom before the advent of vaccination.
Doctors believe sneezing more often than usual could be a sign of COVID-19, but only in people who have been vaccinated.
“Interestingly, our data shows that people who were vaccinated and then tested positive for COVID-19 were more likely to report sneezing as a symptom compared to those who did not get the vaccine,” the scientists said.
The experts also didn’t find much difference in Delta’s and Omicron’s symptoms. Only 50% of people experience three classic symptoms: fever, cough, and loss of smell or taste.
At the same time, the loss of smell and taste has become much less common – earlier in 2021 it was among the top ten symptoms, and now it takes 17th place, and only one in five people experiences it.
