After the Olympic Games, OMEGA is gearing up for another major event. For the 37th edition of the prestigious Louis Vuitton America’s Cup, the renowned Swiss watchmaker is once again taking on the role of Official Timekeeper. This elite maritime competition will take place from 22 August to 27 October 2024, and OMEGA is ready to capture every manoeuvre with unrivalled precision.
Since its first involvement with the America’s Cup in 1995, alongside Emirates Team New Zealand, OMEGA has had the honour of timing the 2000, 2003 and 2021 editions. This year, the watchmaker renews its commitment with the promise to measure every fraction of a second during this historic competition.

We have earned our place on the water by providing timekeeping distinction for three previous editions of the America’s Cup. We are honoured to be responsible for measuring every microsecond of this legendary race, as well as the new competitions under the America’s Cup umbrella.”
The year 2024 also marks an expansion of OMEGA’s role as Official Timekeeper, with two new premier competitions: the Puig Women’s America’s Cup, which makes its debut this year, and the Unicredit Youth America’s Cup, offering young crews a chance to shine on the waves.
To mark its participation in the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona, OMEGA has unveiled a new exceptional timepiece: the 42mm Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup, crafted in stainless steel. This Master Chronometer-certified timepiece features a blue ceramic regatta scale, incorporating two 5-minute pre-start sections and a “START” section featuring a stylised flag. The white ceramic dial is delicately engraved with a raised wave pattern, while the central seconds hand is enhanced by a counterweight in the shape of the America’s Cup trophy, featuring the iconic blue of the Barcelona logo.
The Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup, available with a stainless steel or blue rubber bracelet, comes in a commemorative blue presentation box with red stitching. This model embodies a perfect fusion of advanced dive watch technology
and features specifically designed for the deck, making it a must-have for sailing enthusiasts and discerning collectors. Part of the renowned Seamaster Diver 300M collection, launched in 1993, this timepiece is distinguished by its wave-pattern dial, raised indexes, skeleton hands, and helium escape valve.
