Omar Govea, Club América youth squad, could reach the MLS

Former Liga MX player, Omar Govea, player of the Zulte Waregem from Belgium, ended his contract with the Belgian club and is a free agent for the 2022-23 season, so he is close to signing with an MLS club this summer.

According to Kery News, the 26-year-old Club América youth player, who plays as an attacking midfielder, is in talks with MLS clubs to return from Europe.

“Omar Govea in talks with MLS clubs for a possible arrival this summer. Mazatlan looked for him in the last market but they did not reach an agreement.” He wrote.

The Mexican soccer player arrived in Europe in 2015 and has worn the shirts of Porto B, Mouscron, Royal Antwerp and Zulte Waregem.

Govea did not close the doors to Liga MX, however, if he had good proposals to play in MLS, the footballer could leave his European dream to play in the United States.
