The State Congress considered the request of deputy Omar Bazán of the PRI, who asked the Welfare and Health Secretariats to apply, as soon as possible, the reinforcement of the vaccine against COVID-19, to the teaching and health personnel of the State of Chihuahua, this after 4 months that passed for it to be ruled in that sense by the Health Commission,
The request was made on December 16, 2021 and the next day it was turned over to commissions for their opinion.
On December 27, 2021, the Federal Government announced the start of vaccination for Health personnel, with the AztraZeneca drug. In the case of the State of Chihuahua, during the first days of January of this year, the corresponding reinforcements were being applied, observing for this purpose that they received their complete scheme more than 6 months ago, for which each health institution public and private, was responsible for summoning the staff and applying the vaccines within the medical units of its affiliation.
Since last January of the current year, the different vaccination days have been observed, in order to apply the corresponding reinforcements in the different age groups of the State, with the sole intention of continuing to strengthen health measures, to face to the current pandemic.
