Muscat ∙ The new office-bearers of the Oman Canaanite Catholic Congress for the year 2024-25 have been elected. The new officers were elected at the annual meeting held yesterday. In the meeting presided over by President Sahish Simon and welcomed by Vice President Saji Cherian, Joint Secretary Smitha Thomas presented the report and Treasurer Biju Stephen presented the figures. Then the election of new office bearers was held under the leadership of Sahish Simon and Saji Cherian.
Shine Thomas as President, Saji Cherian as Vice President, Gipson Jose as Secretary, Jintu Sahish as Joint Secretary and Santori Jacob as Treasurer. President-elect Shine Thomas congratulated the office bearers and thanked the old office bearers.
The meeting was followed by Christmas and New Year celebrations. Various children’s art programs and election of KCYL, KCWA and Working Committee were conducted.
