OM: Mijntje B. shot husband Martin Griep in cold blood | Inland

Both suspects were in an introductory hearing before the court in Alkmaar on Friday afternoon.

Mijntje B. says she is innocent and has designated her family friend P. and the ‘underworld’ as possible culprits in the interrogations. According to lawyer Mark-Jan Bouwman of co-defendant Mark P., extensive investigation has shown that Mijntje acted and shot alone. He argued that P. was manipulated by Mijntje: “He followed her like a puppy in love and did little more than help buy a gun on the black market, without knowing that she would shoot her husband with it.” According to Bouwman, it is thanks to Mark P. that the OM has a lot of evidence against Mijntje B.

Mijntje B. was arrested in May, but released a short time later. In June she was arrested again and a few weeks later the arrest of Markus P. with whom she allegedly planned and carried out the murder of her near-ex-ex, according to the OM.

The couple was divorcing. However, according to Mijntje B. the divorce proceedings had been stopped. “Everything has been taken from me and now I can have 12 years. I hope my illness will bring me to Martin soon. ”

The case will continue in December.
