According to the OM, five members of MC Hardliners took Charlie B. hostage at the end of October 2019 because he sexually assaulted a young woman. The abuse was filmed. The motorcycle club members got hold of the video and extorted B. He had to pay ten thousand euros.
Big lie
Three members of the motorcycle club were on trial on Thursday. The suspects Stefan R. (29) and Stanley S. (43) denied any form of threat or extortion and indicated that only ‘a conversation’ had taken place with Charlie B., to prevent the woman from reporting the crime. According to the suspects, B. himself offered a sum of 10,000 euros to apologize to the victim in this way. The OM sees this as a big lie.
“The unlawful deprivation of liberty is such that it has aroused reasonable fear in the victim,” said the public prosecutor. In addition, the suspects only had an eye for ‘their own financial gain’ and not for the victim who was sexually abused.
Pioneering role
According to the OM, Stefan R. had a pioneering role in the case. For example, he would have been the client for the extortion and determined the amount of the fine.
The third suspect did not show up. The two other suspects will appear in court on Friday. The court will rule in two weeks.
MC Hardliners was founded in 2019 from prison by former Hells Angels leader Lysander de R. The club now has several hundred members and 22 departments. According to the police, eighty of them are in the picture due to incidents.
