OM announce the arrival of Luis Suarez
The return of the heart celebration to the Velodrome.
While no rumors had mentioned his potential arrival, Olympique de Marseille indicated on Monday evening that they had reached an agreement with Granada for the transfer of their Colombian striker Luis Suárez, 24. The brief statement in a tweet does not indicate any amount or duration of contract, but simply that the former Watford should pass his medical examination within the next few hours. The Marseille leaders are thus taking advantage of the complicated situation of the Andalusian club, relegated to the second division at the end of the last season. The Colombian was already on OM’s radar in 2020, when he played for Real Zaragoza. This season, he has scored eight goals and four assists in 38 games played.
