Skateboard: 13 year old Sky Brown in the final in the park

Sky Brown, the 13-year-old skateboard queen, continues her race to become the youngest gold medal in Olympic history. The British is in the final in the Park, but in the heats she obtained the second best score, 57.40. Only the Japanese Misugu Okamoto, number 1 in the world ranking, reached 58.51 and the only one over 50 points in all her three runs, surpassed it. Okamoto, 15, won the world championship in 2019. Third another Japanese, Kokona Hiraki, with 52.46: she is the youngest in the race, as she will turn 13 on August 26th. The challenge for the medals is at 5.30 in Italy: if Brown wins the gold, he would take away the primacy of precocity from the American diver Marjorie Gestring, first in the dives from the springboard in Berlin 1936 at 13 years and 268 days.
