The athlete from Pordenone has lifted a total of 322 kg, placing behind the Chinese Chen and the Colombian Mosquera Lozano in the 67 kg category

New record

The 23-year-old athlete from Pordenone, already European silver in April in Moscow, lifted a total of 322 kg, a new Italian record, finishing behind the Chinese Chen (332 kg) and the Colombian Mosquera Lozano (331 kg). That of Zanni is the fifth medal for Italy in this edition of the Games.

Third decisive attempt

Zanni, an Army athlete, lifted 145 kg in the first round, but in the second in the tear he managed, in the third and last attempt, to lift the 177 kilos that earned him this precious bronze. At the end of the test Mirko released the tension bursting into tears of joy.
