The Olympic team drew 0-0 with Eswatini in the match between the two teams during the first leg of the second qualifying round for the Under 23 African Nations Championship, which in turn qualifies for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The return match is scheduled for next Sunday at the Alessandria Stadium to determine the ticket for the third round.
The winner of the Egypt and Eswatini matches will play against the qualifiers of Zambia and Sierra Leone in the third and final round before the finals of the African Nations.
