Slovak athlete Gabriela Gajanová did not make it to the semifinals on the 800 m track at the Tokyo Olympics. In the sixth run, she took 7th place with a time of 2: 01.41 min and her promotion lost one place.
Gajanová started in the fastest run and even her best time this season was not enough for her to advance. It was 25 hundredths of a second apart from the semifinals, and it was from its run that three competitors advanced through time.
“I was very pleased with the seasonal maximum. I did what the coach told me. I kept in the first lane and tried to keep in touch with my opponents. Not going one way freezes, but it’s a sport. I’m glad I was able to improve and fight, “ said in a first response for RTVS Gajanová.
