The qualification limit was four meters and 70 centimeters, however no efforts were needed at this height, since the qualification was judged lower (4.55m).
Eleni Pollak, 28, also competed in the first group, who, after clearing 4.20m on her first attempt, had three failed jumps at four meters and 40 centimeters. It is worth noting that at the same height (4.40m.) the Briton, Holly Bradshaw, who won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics (2021), was also disqualified.
With the 24th place in the final classification, Polyniki Emmanouilidou completed her 200 meters attempt. The Greek champion was ranked 8th in the 2nd semi-final series with a time of 23 seconds and 18 cm and bids farewell to the 33rd Olympic Games with an excellent presence.

SAILING
Cameron Alexandros Maramenidis began today’s men’s kite sailing efforts with eighth place in the fifth race. After this result, the 22-year-old surfer moved up to 11th overall with 33 penalty points, as he threw his fourth race as his worst.

Ioli Mytileneou was disqualified from the show jumping final at the Olympic equestrian tournament in Paris. The Greek amazon, in her first participation in the Olympic Games, after the completion of her race was in 47th place (the competition is in progress) having 12 penalty points and a score of 72.32, while she was finally ranked 57th among 74 competitors.
MEN’S DEHYDRATION
The men’s national water polo team achieved a great victory with 9-8 over Italy, in the “curtain” of the A’ phase of the Olympic tournament in Paris.
