The organizers’ apologies
The group of the Paris 2024 Olympic Video games has apologized “if anybody was offended” by footage broadcast in the course of the Opening Ceremony. After the creator of the occasion, Thomas Jolly, defined that he “was not impressed by the Final Supper” for some of the controversial scenes, Anne Descamps, director of Communications for Paris 2024, mentioned: “After all, our intention was to not disrespect a non secular group, no matter it could be. Quite the opposite, our intention was to indicate tolerance and communion. If anybody was offended, we apologize.”
