Following the designation of Paris as the host city of the Olympic Games in 2024, the Ministry of National Education organizes Olympic and Paralympic week each year. This week in Cayenne gave rise to break dance initiation sessions in several establishments.

These are their first break dancing steps. As part of the Olympic and Paralympic week, these students from the Just HYASINE school in Cayenne are introduced to the discipline which will make its debut at the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. Rodolphe François, the Guyanese B Boy is in the phase of selection for a show project that will bring together 16 students from each of the establishments concerned.

I went to different schools, where I was able to practice and teach these students a little choreography which will be presented in May, during the art day, and in June, there will be another Olympic week.
Break dance at the Olympics is proof for practitioners of the recognition of the requirements that frame the practice.

If we look at the preparation of a B Boy, a break dance dancer, it is a real preparation for a gymnast, a preparation for an athlete.
A discipline that he therefore tries to transmit rhythmically to these students from whom he expects the best to be able to perform, why not in Paris in 2024.
