With good basketball and a convincing performance, Olympiacos achieved its second consecutive European victory: 89-68 against Armani, in front of 9,000 spectators at SEF.

The Italians counterattacked with back-to-back 3-pointers by Ricci and went on a 0-11 run after trailing 45-30, but Kostas Papanikolaou helped Olympiakos stay unscathed: 56-44 and 63-48 at the end of the third quarter. The difference reached 20 points (75-57, 80-58) and remained in double digits until the final.
Shaquille McKissick led Olympiakos with 22 points, while Sasha Vezenkov added 22 and Kostas Papanikolaou added 13.
Giorgos Bartzokas used Walkup 2, Vildosa 9, Dorsey, Larentzaki, Fournier 5, Petrusef, Peters 9, Wright 5, Fall 2. Nigel Williams-Goss and Nikola Milutinov were absent due to injury.
Former “red and white” Jacques LeDay scored 16 points for Armani. From Ettore Messina’s team, Diop 13, Ricci 11, Bolmaro 7 stood out. Mirotic remained at 5. The injured Nimbo did not play. Olympiacos now has 2 wins and 1 loss.
In the second half of the “devil’s week”, Olympiacos will play on Friday night against Efes in Istanbul, at the same stadium where they won the European title in 2012.
