Olympiakos fans cheered outside the “G. Karaiskakis” at noon on Wednesday before the game against Aris for the 3rd matchday of the Super League playoffs. Police made three arrests after the incidents, where they had to intervene to prevent the worst.
From the relevant video of the episodes, which was published by Hooligans TV on social media, it appears that there was a lot of tension and fights outside the stadium before the start of the match. According to what Hooligans TV reports, it is a fight between members from two different associations of the red and whites. The episode was wild as it features people in helmets holding clubs and fighting.
EL.AS proceeded to the arrests of three persons, aged 43, 36 and 29, against whom a case file was filed. A knife, a metal rod and a wooden stave were found and confiscated in the possession of the arrested, while in the 29-year-old’s house, among other things, a pistol was found and confiscated along with 100 cartridges, an air pistol, 21 flares, an iron fist and a full face hood.

THE announcement of EL.AS states the following: “Three citizens, aged 43, 36 and 29, were arrested, as part of the spontaneous procedure, yesterday afternoon (3-4-2024) in Piraeus by policemen of the Piraeus Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate and a case file was filed against them by the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues for disturbing the peace, attempted dangerous bodily harm by complicity and violation of weapons and amateur and professional sports legislation.
In particular, the above defendants, together with other persons who are wanted, took part in a fight outside the stadium before the start of a football match in the Piraeus area. In their possession were found and confiscated: a knife, a metal rod and a wooden stiletto.
Subsequently, in an investigation by the police officers of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Fields, in the house of the 29-year-old, among other things, they found and confiscated: a pistol with -100- cartridges, an air pistol, 21 flares, an iron fist and a full-face hood.
The arrested were taken to the competent Prosecutor”.
