The troupe of singers from Olt, created 33 years ago by Renée Desmarest and Georges Brule, is made up of 11 singers (5 women and 6 men), a sound and light technician and a professional accompanying musician. When it was created, it bore the name of Ensemble lyrique d’Entraygues, which became “The singers of Entraygues”, “The troupe of singers of Entraygues” and, finally, “The troupe of singers of Olt”. For 33 years, the shows renewed every two years or so, delighted many spectators during the multiple performances in Aveyron, Cantal, Lot et Garonne, Hérault, Lozère.
The pandemic unfortunately strongly impacted the smooth running of the troops. Several scheduled shows had to be canceled or postponed. The rehearsals of the future show
Conquests
could not take place at the usual pace but morale is high with the possibility of performing again on stage and the arrival of three new singers. Many shows are already on the bill for the next few weeks.

Throughout the seasons
. A show which, after more than a year of preparation, has already delighted many followers. The audience that gets caught up in the game recognizes the often hummed melodies and follows the singers in the course of the show, marked by songs interpreted with humor and good humor, embellished with frequent costume changes. The troupe generally performs in front of an audience of 80 to 150 people or a much larger audience such as at the amphitheater in Rodez for example and, recently, in the Roger-Besse room where the public was charmed by the performance of the singers. .
