The home team took the lead in the 4th minute thanks to the first offensive formation, which created a big barrier in front of Kašík and Tomeček made it to the finish line. He could immediately increase Krejčí in a power play, but this time the Zlín goalkeeper intervened well. Another great chance came in the Olomouc overpowering game of five against three, but both of Káň’s promising attempts were stopped by the left pole of Kašík’s goal and the home team recombined the rest of the action.

The visiting goalkeeper was then pushed by the sharp Škůrk’s shot from the blue line. The Olomouc players confirmed their dominance before the end of the first period, when Řezníček’s throw from the blue line Nahodil ran behind Kašík’s back. Zlín was not very dangerous in the first period and goalkeeper Konrád didn’t have much work to do.
–
Zlín entered the second part actively, but they did not take any great opportunity from it this time either. The goal, on the other hand, could have fallen on the other side of the field, where Bambula headed to the top post from the left. The guests had the first big chance in the power play exactly in the middle of the basic playing time, but Konrád intervened well and did not let the puck into the net more than twice.

Kašík held the guests
The guests were still held by goalkeeper Kašík, who performed a great intervention against Krejčí’s chance of renumbering two against one. The Zlín goalkeeper then also succeeded after a separate escape from Bambula, when he caught the handle of the Olomouc forward forehand.

The home team added a third goal at the beginning of the third period, when Nahodil had enough time and space to head exactly to the upper left corner. Krejčí could immediately increase the lead, but he did not direct the puck into the net from the immediate vicinity. The fourth goal was added a moment later by Burian, who used Nahodil’s cross pass with a shot from the left circle.

After that, Okál headed inaccurately in the Zlín power play, as did Ondrušek on the other side of the field. Okál had another chance in numerical superiority as he ran a shot pass right next to the goal. Okál did not succeed until the third either, he tried to dodge Konrád himself before Konrád and the Olomouc goalkeeper successfully intervened.

Tomeček could have added another goal, but he did not hit the puck perfectly and headed right next to it. He was close to the hat-trick just before the end of the match Nahodil, but Huf missed his opportunity.
