The defending champion from Letná entered the match actively and put Sigma under pressure. In the sixth minute, Kuchta sent the ball into the net, but the goal was disallowed due to the Spartan striker’s offside. Immediately, Ryneš shot from behind the goal, whose ground shot was covered by goalkeeper Stoppen. After a quarter of an hour, Olomouc also got their first chance, but Zifčák’s finish did not sit well after Pokorný’s sharp cross.
Sparta scored the opening goal in the 28th minute. After Pokorného’s foul on Kuchta in the penalty area, Krejčí scored from the penalty spot with an accurate shot to the left post. Five minutes later, the Spartan captain added his second goal when he ran onto Kairinen’s corner kick and headed the ball unerringly into the net.

Kuchta could have added the third goal shortly after the start of the second half, but in a clear chance after Haraslín’s pass, he did not hit the ball cleanly and missed. However, Letenská did not have to regret it, because a moment later, after Ryneš’s pass, Birmančevič, the most productive player of the competition, made his mark with a precise shot to the far post. The Serbian winger has made his mark in the sixth round in a row, and with 14 goals in the league season, he is only one goal short of the top scorer for the Gunners.
The superiority of the visiting team was then expressed by Kuchta, who in the 66th minute successfully finished off a Spartan combination on the left side with a close-range lob. It was only after that that Hanáci also made their mark for the first time, reducing the score to 1:4 in the 75th minute with a successful header from Pospíšil’s center by substitute Šíp. It was the young midfielder’s first goal in the top flight.
Sigma was visibly encouraged by this and shortly afterwards Zifčák was able to add a second goal after Šíp’s penetration pass. However, Panák was against it, and he blocked the promising shot with a quick slide. The Hanáci did not follow up on the previous sensational draw 2:2 from the Slavia Stadium. Sparta won the league for the third time in a row.
