“Olivier Giroud compares playing with Christian Pulisic to Eden Hazard at Chelsea”

Giroud played with Pulisic at Chelsea before joining AC Milan in the summer of 2021. The two players won the Champions League together, with Pulisic scoring in the semi-final win over Real Madrid to push the Blues finally.

Pulisic perfect for Milan?

Since then, Pulisic has had some tough times at Chelsea, including his recent expulsion from the team by Frank Lampard, but Giroud hasn’t shied away from comparing him to Chelsea legend Hazard while backing the team’s star United States Men’s National as a good player to have on your team.

“He was a happy boy, always good vibes, smiling,” Giroud told Morning Footy. “It was easy to laugh with him. My understanding on the pitch with him was excellent, a bit like Eden [Hazard], even if I played less with Christian. He is the kind of player who is very skilful. He can dribble, do one-twos. He knew how to use me on the pitch and vice versa.
