Earlier this month, the “Don’t Worry Darling” movie had its world premiere and more scandals surrounding the film he has already created countless headlines in the media.
A video of fellow actor Chris Pine (42) went viral after many believed Harry Styles (28) spit on the former before the film’s screening. Pine’s reps certainly were quick to dismiss rumors.
Now film director Olivia Wilde puts an end to the spitting rumors, once and for all. You write, among others In magazine.

On Wednesday night, Wilde was a guest on the talk show “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”. There she defended her boyfriend Harry Styles after her claims abounded that she spit on Pine.
During the episode, Colbert probably asked her what many are still wondering: if Styles actually spat on Pine.
– I think this is a perfect example of people wanting to create drama wherever they can. Harry didn’t spit on Chris, actually. He really didn’t do it! He points out.
She continues:
– People can watch a video that shows evidence that someone is not spitting on someone else and they will still see what they want to see. And this is the creation of the drama – and this is clickbait.
Though both Wilde and Pine have now dismissed the rumors, fans were still convinced they saw the spit leave Styles’ mouth, according to Page six. Pine representatives said the following:
– This is a ridiculous story. It is a complete invention and is the result of a strange illusion on the Internet that is clearly misleading and offers the opportunity for foolish speculation, says the rep and points out:
–
– To be perfectly clear, Harry Styles didn’t spit on Chris Pine.
Pine reps also said there is a good vibe among the stars.
– There is only respect between these two men and suggestions for anything else are an obvious attempt to create drama around something that simply does not exist.
