Pablo Mescal, who earned an Oscar nomination for playing Frankie’s on-screen father in the film, masterminded the surprise. He got the “driver’s license” singer to do a special birthday greeting for Corio, now 13, and played it for him as they filmed. After the sun in Turkey.

Part of Olivia’s message is muffled by background noise, which includes excited laughter, but she can be heard saying, “I hope you have the best day of your life.”
“I hope you eat a lot of cake and open a lot of presents, and I look forward to meeting you very soon,” says the hitmaker.
Frankie is completely speechless, even as Mescal apologizes for the video that came after his birthday.
Olivia is currently working on her second album, the follow-up to SOURbut has previously hinted that it could come out sometime this year.
