Olivia Munn revealed to her nearly three million Instagram followers that she had breast cancer.
Olivia Munn took to her Instagram account to announce sad news to her subscribers. The 43-year-old American model said she was “diagnosed with breast cancer” in April 2023 and underwent a double mastectomy. “I hope that by sharing this, it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support in their own journeys,” the supermodel captioned the photo. Olivia Munn is pictured in hospital undergoing various treatments.
A long text completes its publication. “In the last ten months, I have had four surgeries. I’ve spent so many days in bed I can’t even count them. […] Surprisingly, I only cried twice,” wrote the mother of Malcolm (2 years old). In her misfortune, Olivia Munn considers herself “lucky” to have been quickly detected. Her biopsy revealed that she had “aggressive and rapidly progressing” Luminal B type breast cancer.
