The former CEO of FC Bayern Munich Oliver Kahn has once again shared background information from his trip to Saudi Arabia via his social networks. After visiting Al-Hilal and Neymar, he was now a guest at Al-Nassr.
Photos show that Kahn met Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané there. Together with sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, Kahn lured Mané from Liverpool to FC Bayern last summer. Mané moved to Al-Nassr after a disappointing season, Kahn and Salihamidzic were released.
In his post, Kahn thanked Al Nassr for a tour of the club facility and for allowing him to attend a training session. As with his first posting two days ago, Kahn was harshly criticized for this on social networks.
The Saudi Arabian league launched an unprecedented transfer offensive in the summer and lured numerous stars to the desert. The kingdom, which has been criticized for human rights violations and the persecution of minorities, is thus engaging in sportswashing.
