Olimpia Milano beats Virtus Bologna 94-82 in game 3 of the Scudetto final and now leads 2-1 in the basketball LBA Finals. Milan takes advantage of the amazing evening of Nicolò Melli (22 points) and the excellent performance of Shavon Shields (19). Olimpia escapes in the first quarter (+12) but suffers the return of Virtus who also puts their heads forward in a balanced match. Milan places the decisive break at the start of the fourth period, running away again until the final 94-82. Bologna, not flawless in defense, goes to the mat despite Daniel Hackett’s 18 points and Milos Teodosic and Marco Belinelli’s 14 each.
