Libreville, Thursday December 14, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – A mass was said yesterday at the Notre-Dame de l’Assomption Cathedral in Libreville in honor of the Head of State and his team.
The change that occurred at the top of the State on August 30 left no one indifferent in Gabon. Even the religious world was sensitive to the advent of the Transitional Committee for the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI). In view of the winds of change across the country and the numerous initiatives taken in favor of the populations, a mass of thanksgiving was organized yesterday at the Notre-Dame de l’Assomption cathedral in Libreville.
In the front row, the President of the Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, and his wife Zita, took part in this Eucharistic celebration which was attended by several Catholic faithful. According to the presidential communication, this approach was intended to give thanks to the Almighty for the liberation of the country on August 30, 2023 and for the important achievements that followed.
