Oligui Nguema receives the High Representative of the African Union –

The president of the transition received Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas High Representative of the African Union this Monday, November 27, 2023 in Libreville.

Arriving in Libreville for a 48-hour visit, the High Representative of the African Union met today with the President of the Transition, General Oligui Nguema.

During their discussions, the two personalities spoke about several subjects. The transitional president received assurances from Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas who declared that Gabon remains an active member of the African Union.

Note that the African Union is following developments in Gabon with great attention and is prepared to support our country until the organization of free, transparent and inclusive elections. A successful Transition in Gabon will be an example for Africa.
