The president of the transition received on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, the president of Guinea Bissau, who arrived in Libreville, Gabon for a working and friendship visit.
General Umaru Sissoco is in Libreville, Gabon. He will meet face to face with the president of the transition, General Oligui Nguema. It will be a question of discussing subjects of common interest.
Gabon and Guinea Bissau share excellent relations. Last month the president of the transition Oligui Nguema took part in the ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the independence of Guinea Bissau.
Let us also recall that, on November 15, 2022, Gabon and Guinea Bissau signed a new framework agreement linking the two countries in several areas of activity.
