Oligui Nguema raises the colors at the presidential palace –

The president of the transition took part in the raising of colors ceremony this Monday, November 20, 2023 at the presidential palace in Libreville.

As announced by the Head of State on November 14, Staff in public and private administrations will now perform the national anthem La Concorde and raise the colors every Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. before starting the working day.

This is why the president of the transition wanted to set an example by performing this Monday, November 20, 2023, the national anthem of Gabon at the presidential palace. By doing this, the president of the transition, General Oligui Nguema, wishes to consolidate the national unity of institutions. In its press release of November 14, it is also stated that “ the descent of the colors will be held every Friday, “at the end of the working day, to mark the end of the administrative week”.

Note that the president of the transition wants this measure to be applied by everyone in the public and private administrations of Gabon.
