The president of the transition will make his fifth trip to Africa this Wednesday, October 11, 2023, more precisely to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
General Oligui Nguema will make a working and friendship visit today to Congo. During his stay which will last a single day, the transitional president will meet with Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi where he will plead for the relaxation if not the lifting of the sanctions of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) taken against Gabon after the coup d’état of October 30 which overthrew Ali Bongo.
Indeed, it is since taking power on August 30, 2023 that President Oligui Nguema has been active on the regional diplomatic level to warm up bilateral cooperation relations with other countries.
While waiting for his tour to other countries in Africa and elsewhere, let us remember that the transitional president first went to Equatorial Guinea, Congo Brazzaville, Central African Republic, N’djamena. Today he will make his fifth trip to Kinshasa.
