People’s Artist of the RSFSR, theater and film actress Olga Yakovleva was hospitalized in Moscow. Telegram channel reports this Mash.
According to the telegram channel, an ambulance was called for the actress due to attacks of pain, weakness and coughing. The doctors who came to the artist decided to urgently hospitalize her. At the clinic, the 82-year-old artist underwent all the necessary diagnostic tests, and now Yakovleva is under the supervision of doctors. The condition is assessed as moderate.
Olga Yakovleva was born in 1941 in Tambov. She graduated from the Shchukin Theater School, after which she went to work at the Lenin Komsomol Theater. Also during her creative career she worked at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, the Taganka Theater, the Mayakovsky Theater and since 2004 has been a member of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater troupe. In 2003 she published a book of memoirs “If I had known…”. In December 2023, Yakovleva received an award in the category “Legend of the Stage” at the “Theatrical Star” awards ceremony.
