For his part, Pedan believes that the language issue is important for the transformation of Ukraine itself.

Because you can learn English, but you can’t learn Ukrainian? “Will it be difficult for us to restore, to fight? This transition, the transformation of Ukraine into Ukraine, finally, into our independence, which we are gaining, is difficult. It doesn’t happen that easily. The TV presenter added that he says this because he relies on his own experience. He noted that he himself had to learn Ukrainian at the beginning of his career, as he was almost fired from his job in television.

“It was then that the first law followed that the hosts had to broadcast in Ukrainian. There was no TV project yet, everything was at the start. The producer said: “Everything is fine, except for this boy who does not know Ukrainian.” And I took it and learned the language. It’s not easy, but it’s necessary. So, this is your difficult step, but important for Ukraine. That’s all,” he added and noted that everyone should switch to the Ukrainian language.
