The Amancio Ortega Foundation will finance the creation of a environmental library in the Pazo de Lóngora. It will be located specifically in the old stables of the pazo, in a space now unused, in Potters.
The new library will have all the bibliographic material that is currently located in the Ceida, the environmental disclosure center of Castillo de Santa Cruz. The restoration and adaptation works of the building will cost 260 thousand euros. The Pazo de Lóngora is a municipally owned space ceded by the City council of Oleiros to University of A Coruña for the creation of University Institute of the Environment.
