Oleiros and A Coruña are among the 50 richest municipalities in Spain

Oleiros, A Coruña and Santiago are among the 50 richest municipalities in Spain, occupying positions 20, 43 and 49 on the list of municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants with the highest average annual income per capita.

The list of cities according to unemployment rates includes Lugo on the side with the lowest percentage, with 10.8%. Meanwhile, Ferrol (51.3%) and Ourense (51.7%) are among those with the lowest activity rate. Meanwhile, Ferrol, Vigo and A Coruña are on the side of cities with the lowest average number of children per woman, with 1.04, 1.10 and 1.11, respectively.

Finally, the functional urban area of ​​A Coruña, with 12,686 euros per inhabitant, appears again in the ranking of cities with the highest income.

According to information from the INE, Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) is the municipality with the highest average income and the second with the lowest unemployment rate in all of Spain.

According to Statistics data, Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona) and Pozuelo (Madrid) are the two municipalities in Spain with the lowest average unemployment rates estimated for 2018, with 6.2% and 6.4%, respectively, while that Linares (Jaén) and the Cadiz municipalities of La Línea de la Concepción and Sanlúcar de Barrameda present the highest rates, with 32.8%, 29.9% and 29%, respectively.

On the other hand, the first five municipalities with the most unemployment are located in Andalusia: Linares, in Jaén, with a rate of 32.8%; La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz), with 29.9%; Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), with 29%; Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), with 28.7%, and Córdoba (28.5%).

They are followed by Ceuta (27.4%); Chiclana de la Frontera, Alcalá de Guadaíra and Talavera de la Reina (27.2% in the three cases).

Of the 15 municipalities with the most unemployment, 11 belong to the Community of Andalusia, one to Extremadura (Mérida), another to Toledo (Talavera de la Reina) and the other two are the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
