A singer Oleg Skripka commented on how he relates to the performer Nadia Dorofeeva and her creativity.
The leader of the group “Vopli Vidoplyasova” reacted to singer’s words about how her position changed after the start of a full-scale war and that before that she was “infantile and irresponsible”.
According to Skrypka, Dorofeeva refers to creativity as a business, and the fact that now the singer is completely in Ukrainian in her career does not mean anything.
“This is patriotic cynicism. These people are just sincere cynics. There are people on the stage, and there are people who are businessmen on the stage. Today, people come and watch businessmen on stage. Here they have built a great career for themselves and sing even more or less normally,” spoke out Violin in an interview with “Your City”.
According to the musician, it is not enough to give up Russian-language songs, you need to have a taste and not hype on the topic of war and victory.
“We have a cultural catastrophe and, probably, there was Russian influence as well. That is, the structure of show business has not changed, if we changed the language, did Russian influence disappear? There was Russian-language content and some Ukrainian-speaking fools to be on the air. If they took away Russian-language content, what do we leave if the mechanism is the same? We need to set the task to have a high-quality product, so that content returns to music, and not just words about freedom,” Skrypka said.
